We learnt about compass directions and then thought about what was in different directions around the school, we started by thinking about what was north, south, east and west around the school. We then thought further afield around the Isle of Wight and even the world! Some children were then keen to look at atlases to find places to the north, south, east and west of the United Kingdom.
